That was an old one clearly due to be upgraded 😉
Time to buy Fukagu!

My dog ate my left A12t shell! I don’t know where or when she got it but all I heard was “Crunch, crackle, crunch”. After a loud “noooooo” she gave me the “side eye” full well knowing what she did!!!
Geez... Every dog knows U18t is better... 😝

Rediscovering the Magic

Sometimes, we get so caught up in the TOTL gear chase that we forget just how good mid-fi can be. Recently, I dusted off some of my favorite gear that hadn’t seen the light of day for over a year, including my beloved Oriolus Isabellae.

This setup has blown me away all over again:

Isa > Velvet Wide Bore Tips > Dita Oslo Cable > Astell Kern PA10 Amp > Sony ZX707

The result? Lush, creamy, and liquid-smooth sound with coherence that just pulls you in. The midrange on the Isa is downright sumptuous—an experience that makes you melt right into the music.

Sometimes, less is truly more!

I happened to pick up my Isa Yesterday, it is still very good for singer/song writer.

64Audio is for dogs!

Review up for the TSMR SHOCK... a cheaper set than many here would consider, but might be of interest to some! I have certainly been very impressed, especially at a $599 price point - the BCDs are fantastic. Review HERE

This is like a bad train wreck. So far, I’ve found 4.5 BA drivers, a piece of the Abalone shell, and some other fragments that can’t be identified.

Probably will see the rest in the morning poop run!

Maybe they can reshell that for you? As a new model, even? A4.5t?

In all seriousness, that sucks… I’m sorry!

Exactly. I was listening to Ben Pellow: Roslyn (male vocal and piano) and Hollow Coves: These Memories (male vocal, guitar and soft kick drum 3/4 through). Pure magic.

Hahaha, or a 37.5% discount on a left shell. This was the IEM that introduced me into this hobby.

I wonder what 64A would say… haha

A12t was my first Custom IEM. Still in regular rotation!

Perpetua, Supermoon, Solaris SE
Gotta admit I’ve been tempted to repurchase Solaris SE when I see it on classifieds. BTW, D16-Trifecta pair amazingly well. Enjoying it immensely.

Hi all, I had mentioned I was doing a video review - had to get my video editing chops going.

Here's the companion video for my previous AME Mousa review. Hopefully it's not too rough. 😅

Too bad that 64 Audio decided to design A12t as K9 eye candies, they are partially to blame for your loss. Your dog was like: that candy does not even taste good, why the fuss. BTW, your new signature is great.

Do you have any idea if isa spring festival version has any sonic difference as compared to isa OG?

I don't even know there is a spring festival version, is it a new release?
