A hole in the tip will likely break the seal, no matter how small or where it is.Maybe make a small hole and thread a 3" piece of string into them which dangles down for quick release
Just remember I invented this.

I have those. They can be a solution but for a different problem, namely IEMs sliding out of one's ears. There are basically two possible ways to address this, sticky tips like Xelastecs, or tips like these. For drftr's issue these would make matters worse rather than better though, as his problem is securing the tips to the IEM, rather than the tips to the ear.I saw these and thought of you:

Maybe these will help?

The knotted string would block the hole, and little weights the other end would keep the tension.

Respectfully, that isn't at all what I said, in any context. Again, pricing is still TBD. I'm not hiding anything, I simply don't have that information. The cost is pending, but it should be within the general price range of their current flagships. The Hulk Pro goes for $359.99 retail, so use that as a general ballpark. It could very well cost $500; it certainly won't cost $1000, although again, it's speculative. That cable I tried at CanJam for about two hundy? I'm in.
UM or Aroma would charge two thousand lol even if it was literally the exact same thing.
Ergonomically, very much so, especially with the end connector options. The largest difference, pricing aside (Celeste retails for ~$2800 or so, I believe) is that Celeste is silver, whereas this would be copper. I would say it's safer to use the Hulk Pro/pure copper cables in general as a test for synergy with whatever IEMs one would plan to pair this with, rather than using pricing as a metric. This cable reminds me of the Celeste from Dita.
To those interested, I've generated a semi-formal interest list here. Please reply to it in the DUNU thread and I can see about tagging you. The hope is that the metrics push forward to manufacture:

I found its bass satisfying, but as others have said, I'd recommend a used Xe6, personally. Is it suitable for bass-head?
Love Xe6 .. funny I looked at bgga tier list yesterday and XE6 was at the waaaaay bottom funny cause he’s a bass head but hey it’s not for everyoneI found its bass satisfying, but as others have said, I'd recommend a used Xe6, personally.

I also had my session with the Xe6 yesterday and I thought it was pretty awesome how much it could transport me ️.Love Xe6 .. funny I looked at bgga tier list yesterday and XE6 was at the waaaaay bottom funny cause he’s a bass head but hey it’s not for everyone

I personally preferred the Xe6 to the Rn6 when I heard both last CanJam SG. It's probably my favorite FiR IEM (of the ones I've heard), followed by the oft-underrated VxV.I also had my session with the Xe6 yesterday and I thought it was pretty awesome how much it could transport me ️.
I am a very big fan of FirAudio. I bought the Rn6 out of curiosity and ended up keeping it. Even though it went against my absolute principle of only having one IEM from one company (yes, I know, dumb principle). Both are absolutely fantastic for me. No other IEM has the color, technicality and fun factor in an all-around package like the Rn6. It's a specialist in not being a specialist. It is the TOTL that would receive at least 8.5-9/10 points in every category for me, whereas other TOTLs would somewhere receive only a 10 and otherwise generally 8. So it is best in class. And when you consider the prices at which the Xe6 and Rn6 can be found compared to new TOTL-models, it's really crass.I personally preferred the Xe6 to the Rn6 when I heard both last CanJam SG. For me as well, the Xe6 is like a party in your ears, it just pulls me into the music. The only iem that did that even more for me was the Trifecta.
Both would be on the top of my list to buy now, if i would have the budget.

I found Trifecta rather underwhelming during our Amsterdam meetup to be honest. From all the praise I read I was rather hyped to hear it and even set funds aside to potentially go for it next. The bass and staging are fun, but the tuning felt wonky, technicalities are far behind whats currently considered TOTL, including older stuff like Traillii and the treble spikes are as usually a deal breaker for me.

I hear you but to each their own! I personally love trifecta with the gold brick. Wonderful synergy to say the leastI found Trifecta rather underwhelming during our Amsterdam meetup to be honest. For me it delivered a really high entertainment value, is it technically the best? Absolutely not. But in the end, both the Trifecta and the Xe6 were very emotional for me and pulled me in. Way more so then the storm.
However if I really would want to analyze a song and pull out all the details then storm would be the way to go.
