Thank you for your thoughts, it’s really interesting and what is great about this community.I have the N30LE and an RS8 as well.
I don’t have the AP IEM. Neither have I heard it. Based on the N30LE + Mentor pairing, I can imagine and understand why ppl rave about the N30 AP combo.
On the RS8, this is where the combo with Mentor did not do well. Mentor’s mids become muddy.
As far as soundstage is concerned, the WM1ZM2 is phenomenal. Wider than the N30 and definitely wider than the RS8. The gold brick + Mentor combo did not diminish the soundstage. In fact the whole soundstage took on a 3D, obviously due to the Mentor.
I don’t have a Hugo. I can only imagine how spectacular the combo would be if its soundstage is better than that of the gold brick combo.
I need to try a gold brick with the mentors !

Artha Argentum looks gorgeous...can't wait for one to be sent to India.Good to see the FlipEars Aurora up there. Given how excellent the Aether and Artha are, I am sure the Aurora is a solid performer.
Can we get more detail impressions of the Onyx and a picture perhaps?

Wow, Aurora just got shipped to me yesterday....blind buy.My IEM highlights of the CanJam where:
Noble Onyx (seriously considering buying this one)
FlipEars Aurora
New UM Mason FS
Pilgrim (the only problem, it has short stem, so not a great fit for me)
They have a built-in lcd display in the case? What is that for though?Wow, Aurora just got shipped to me yesterday....blind buy.

Indeed the WM1ZM2 has the widest soundstage. Somehow even some owners don’t pick up on this. Discernibly wider than any other DAP I have heard.I have the N30LE and an RS8 as well.

I have also owned the Hugo 2 and the WM1ZM2 together for the longest time and the latter still beats the former for width while the H2 reigns for depth and layering.

You're much milder after your release Jonathan! We expected a well-meant "That's what you get when they make too much money on you"I see...
You mind sending me a link to the album? Can I buy without signing up for their services you think? Very happy to sponsor any family members here.

It is their way of presenting information on the IEM. I asked them not to send it to me. I don't even know where to keep these boxesThey have a built-in lcd display in the case? What is that for though?
They are sending me the Aurora in a new carry case they just made.
Let me know if you need any help with Flip Ears.
I would maybe go for a Sennheiser ie600 .. it’s very small so you wouldn’t have a comfort issue and it’s a very balanced cohesive Hi-Rez listening experience at the price .. there are so many options, but this one is coming to my mind right now for what you’re asking.. if you want some thing that’s more of a classic resin shell with a good universal snug fit with good balance in the tuning try the xenns top
Thanks for the recommendation. What about replaceable cables or ear tips? I don't like right angle plugs. Also the IE600 is $900 Canadian. Pretty steep for my first IEM.

As wide as this.
You can grab some on Amazon Just make sure it says ie600 because they do use a special connector .. as for tips Final E tips are always a good time And spin fits are reliable..Thanks for the recommendation. What about replaceable cables or ear tips? I don't like right angle plugs.

I'll check it out. But $900 Canadian for these is pretty steep.
