the fit doesn't look too bad on you tho.Got the Fir Audio Neon 4 from the official FIR Audio dealer(The Audio Store) in my country for a few days. I have been listening to the set for the entirety of yesterday. Kind of developed a love it hate it relationship based on some tracks. For some tracks, I find the bass to slam so hard, so hard that all my other IEMs have started to feel neutral to me lol. For some I find the lower end to go boomy and spoil the experience for me. Overall, ai find this set to be something a heavy bass lover will enjoy, for people who prefer more musicality, more treble presence might not prefer. Gonna give it some cable rolling and tip rolling today hehe!!

One day, I’ll have the Monochrome collection tooGot mine today They sound pretty much the same as Noir from initial A/B’ing. Will let the Blanc break in a bit and test again tomorrow. They look great though!
I actually have yet to try the Ragnar for metal. But it actually responds extremely well to sources. I love the pairing with the WM1Z but even more with the TAZ.Agree on your insights on Ragnar… it is brill for vocals and instrumental for me, but the treble gets too enhanced without sufficient bass quantity for metal - that results in a less than satisfying session, when compared to LX, KK or Ody.
Pity that Indigo’s stock cable is not a brighter blue
Here’s a photo I took of @dmphile ‘s Indigo. They do look a little birghter but they’re still pretty dark overall. The colour looks off in that photo, even the hardware colour is totally off from what it really looks like.
Anni's treble is indeed amazing. I was fortunate enough to hear it at Zepp&Co>Martini>N8ii. It is a lovely iem. Unfortunately, even Zepp&Co are not taking any orders for them. Must be because there is no certainty of delivery! My favorite DAP for Anni is RS8. When I heard them together at CanJam, I was blown away with it. When others heard it, they seemed to be, too. For now, I have been listening to it with N8ii because it keeps the bass under control while enabling the glorious treble. When I get the RS8, I expect it to get most of my ear time with RS8. It also sounds great with RS6. Anni sounds great with the Martini cable. It sounds like X when you pair it with the Venom cable.

Purple IEM that could be part of the infinity stone (IEM) collection would be EXT? left with orange and yellow for Jim’s collection

I have not heard the Mest Mk2 but for my library and preferences, my ranking is:Gentlemen,
Hope yall are well.
I was wondering if I could get some comparisons between the MEST MK2, the MEST Indigo and the Multiverse Mentor.
As it happens, I am a big fan of the MEST MK2. I love how dynamic it sounds (love the bass as well) and I like the treble energy, the grittiness, and the relativeness thinness as a flavor in my larger IEM collection which currently includes a few flagships.
Because I am enjoying the MEST MK2 so much, I wonder if I should get the Indigo or just spring for the Mentor. Not sure if the Mentor will give me the bass or dynamic energy of the MK2.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

Men, so many polarizing opinions on Mentor M. My guess, they are very source and tip dependable. N8II and Spinfit W1 tips have the great synergy with it.
But in the end Mentor does more things Better is it?Totally agree with you. Mentor is a great all rounder. But to me, the vocals on Jewel makes it shine with my library

I try to keep stock as much as possible unless there's a clear upgrade in sound to my ears. What cables are you using on your IEMs, klyzon? Always stock? Any fantastic Asian cables that haven't found love elsewhere perhaps?

Jewel is with FT, Ody with Iliad, EE Phantoms with Venom, EE LX with stormbreaker. These are my usual pairings for now. Waiting to get something else for Ody eventually.
Asian cables, nightjar from Singapore is up and coming I guess, depends on Storm's launch. Ultra premium pricing, so not sure who else have actually tried it.
Cross Lambda from Thailand, Hansound (should be pretty well known actually), Null Audio are the ones that comes to my mind that are the lesser used/known here on head-fi

I listen to a lot of pop, jap anime stuff and rock, imo Mentor is great for the current generation of pop music, be it kpop jpop or taylor swift etc stuffBut in the end Mentor does more things Better is it?

Actually I thought in general most people that tried mentor likes it. Have only noticed about 2 outright dislikes

Where am I?
Mentor, bird, jewel.
Andrew's!
Enjoy. Hopefully you like them! 3 stellar sets right there. Mentor and Jewel can be quite source picky, Traillii sounds pretty fantastic from a lot of different sources though.
