Yup, I still have a set somewhere. Haven't used them in ages, but I don't see myself ever parting with them.
I'll definitely need to get the pads changed, but boy, I really love(d) my PX-100 II. Real small, good sound. Perfect. :)

In many ways it was an HD 414 for the iPod generation. I'll have to dig mine out thanks to the two of you!

Yes, PX-100 II was amazing. I only demoed it but it was beyond the look or price asked! I don’t know how something could be made like that? At the time I moved into a different direction, but I have great memories of that particular headphone.

There is a PX-80 too!

New ring color.
Be still my heart. It's been a minute since I've heard a PX 100-II reference :heartbeat:
It’s been barely over a minute for me. Just took them off. They are on their 4th foam now And the one on the headband is crumbling. My coworker said that the 80s were calling and wanted their headphones back, but these are only about a decade old and completely relevant today. I wish on ears were still popular. They are still a great listen.

Go home everyone, It's just the IE-600. The texturing on it matches the teaser.

This really is market research it’s finest.
Sennheser is on a mission to get out a full line up of hifi earbuds. I hope this works out for them and things turn out like Porsche where they make SUVs so they can turn around and finance the making of GT3s.
Maybe a proper over ear flagship is not that far off, maybe even a line up.
Obviously it is also possible that Sennheiser is completely focusing on earbuds going forward.
I wish there was some more visible logic to Sennheiser’s strategy… a roadmap exist somewher that some people here have obviously seen but can’t drop any hints about

... We need to find these people and start bribing them with stuff… preferably new TOTLs from over brands so they can go do some lobbying and encourgae Sennheiser to at least think about TOTLs if they aren’t already doing do…

Edit: I mean TOTL that is reasonably affordable, not HE1 type product.

The HE1 is not a proper over the ear flagship then ???

It may not be the most exciting release, but I get it…. It’s useful/pragmatic. Maybe they can use what they’ve learned in transducer design for a new MX985. One can dream.
