Sony has a 125page help guide for your A105:

Sony have released another update for this device. That's very quick for Sony, I'm half afraid to install it in case it reinstates the EU volume cap. Paranoid, I know, but the unit is virtually useless when capped
I installed the latest update last night (2.01.00, I'm in UK).
I've been listening to music for a couple of hours now, and there's been no beeps or warnings of any kind.
The removal of this has definitely made using the player more enjoyable!
Do you find the player to sound louder than before?
My only real gripe is that I can't get higher than 24bit 48KHz using Amazon HD.
Many thanks.
Can't believe I missed that setting!
I'm sure others were saying that the streaming quality was improved and couldn't understand what the issue was.
Tried a different cable, or checked that the cables connected correctly? Failing that try turning down the volume of the a105, even if by one.I'm running the a105 with an amp ie the Fiio A5 connection via the105 hp out to A5 line in with the volume of a105 set to 120 (max volume). I noticed that once in awhile the a105 reboots on its own, during parts of the song that is loud. After rebooting, I played again the same song but it plays fine without any reboots. However reboots still happen again on another song during the parts when it is loud but after rebooting I can't seem to recreate the rebooting using the same song. Any ideas?
Mine cuts out if I feed it at full volume into an amp. I'm in no away an engineer but there may be some "resistance" in the system somewhere that the A105 doesn't like. I just wind the volume down a bit. I don't worry about it. Just a foible of the deviceTried a different cable, or checked that the cables connected correctly?
