I just flashed the Chinese FW

I had a really old firmware pre-installed. Then I flashed the chinese NW-A100_0003_V1_20_02_NW_WM_FW (0000 is the int. version & 0003 the CHN) - Play Store keeps crashing cause no Google Framework and you can just close the window which is poppin up like every 5s. After that I patched it to the newest international one. NW-A100_0000_V2_00_05_NW_WM_FW.UPG ... (manual installation: airplane + update file in root folder and then searching for updates)
Thanks, will give it a go tomorrow.

Got a PM with the DL links :)
I tried with a UK ZX507 with Asia International (not Chinese) and made no difference. Ended up returning and imported one from Japan (cheaper too).

For comparrison with UK one even balanced I had to have at 100/120 even with my sensitive 8ohm SE846!

With Japanese one I'm at 68/120 on L-Gain. 45/120 on H-Gain.

I can't do it. It says "update cannot be done" My version is the same but EU. Maybe file should be renamed to oryginal location?

Any chance someone with a Sonos system could test something for me?

I want to pick up a nw-a105 to use more or less as a Sonos remote (hardware buttons) but I don’t know if the media buttons down the side will control the app, especially if the screen is off.

It did not work with the Sonos S1 app. The volume controls only operated the system volume. Why not an inexpensive (old) android phone? I still have old apple and android phones that operate my Sonos system well.

bugger, might be able to do it with Macronos app but beginning to get complicated. I really wanted a nicely built, small device with hardware buttons to use like a remote. I love the build of Sony gear and it’s one of the very few android devices with hardware media keys...
