Seems suspiciously pristine. You sure it's not a Bangy re-issue?
It would say in bright turquoise "GEC" (whether they even made VT-231 🤷🏻‍♂️😏😈)

.... if only it were true .... L👀K👇: IMG_7703.jpeg😳 😦 😫 (a single !!)
I was going to post this as well lol. Actual GECb65 tubes have gotten crazy expensive. It’s why I love 12v tubes so much:) Just ordered a metal base b36 to pair up with my lone one. Even the 12v ones have gotten expensive. As good as these are I can’t imagine spending that kind of money on a tube, let alone for a pair of them! That’s the price of a decent amp!

** It's also one-tenth of the USD price for a Quantum Science Audio Gold fuse ... !!

And only 1 in stock- what’s up with that?
They have gotten rare. They do have other ones with brands like Osram and Marconi. Same tube, same price. They actually have some b36 tubes in stock as well, about a 10th of the price. They aren’t the coveted metal base ones but I’m not convinced that there’s much difference. I’ll find out soon enough I guess. I’m proud of myself, I didn’t reflexively put them in my basket when they showed up in the store! I also managed to avoid the big sale on another site on a tube I had some interest in. Of course if I hadn’t bought that metal base b36 I would have bought a handful lol.

I wonder if the seller of those fuses actually gets any sleep at night or if they were just born without a conscience

For new 6SN7 tubes, Tung Sol and Electro-Harmonix are good options, with the EH being more linear and the the Tung Sol being more euphonic.
