For me the big question - is the the LCD3 worth 1k more than the LCD2?

Also I was impressed wirh the RWA AK100 and the sound stage of the M9

Might buy the AK200 when it comes out

Also anybody in Perth interested in building a KGSSHV and wants a soldering buddy PM me... My interest in going STAX has just increased

I was impressed with the tank build quality of the M9. Damn that thing was something to hold.
 
LCD-3 worth a grand over the LCD-2? Nope. Not in my opinion. They sounded nice, but preferentially nice. Not technically superior. The only superior aspect was the pads.
 
The 335's I found impressive, same with the RWAK100. For portable listening it makes more sense than the DX100. If I didn't have a DX100 I'd happily buy one of the AK200 (if they're any good) and be quite content for it.
 
Room40, I'll join you on that KGSSHV build. If only for my own education and the eventual purchase of end game STAX way, way, way down the track.

Hey guys, I'm heading back to Perth _again_ in Aug 10th -> 16th. A quick trip this time. 11th is ruled out for a meet but anyone else wants to do a quick meet? I don't think I'm going to bring back anything big and heavy this time but I can bring some small stuff...HM-901, Ocharaku Kaede, Tera Player.
