I dont know if you guys saw recently but Penon has started to sell TGXear buds on Penon site. Any of you guys into earbuds. These are some of the absolute best in the industry. Highly recommend giving them a go. I bet you will be surprised at the the level of polish and sound you get with our buddy TGX buds.

I've not tried buds recently. It's not my thing as of late, but I'm willing to try it if the price is right.

I've only tried the Tgxear Tantalus, which isn't produced anymore, but I've been shocked at how good it is. Granted, I got it for $95 off the classifieds, but I would have been happy with it for its original selling price of $250. Plugged into my RME ADI-2, it actually sounds somewhat similar to a miniature version of the HD800S with my Leeloo tube amp. If you check the Tgxear thread, there's a lot of positive reviews.

95$ I would consider, but 250$ is steep for me to justify now for a bud.

Im definitely out of Voltage then 🤌🙉 haha
Wondering how the Dome stocks now against the flood of quality budget hybrids form China of 1+4 or 2+4 ? Any comparisons to shozy 1.4, HiFi Boy OS V3, doscinco?
Since Sound Rhyme dte900 or Ej07m are a bit overkill for on the go, 10-anivesary bit too bulky(plus I don't want to detach it from Penn bass cable) then I might have a spot for Dome or some other well isolating and comfortable, but only if there would be decent upgrade from likes of should 1.4 or hifiBoy os v3. Feedback appreciated 🙏😃
Best regards and have a nice day fellas!

Ouch… but let’s see what the actual price is. If this follows the TSMR X pricing approach, the actual price may be closer to half of this…?

My advice is that everyone subscribe to the Penon newsletter :)

However, it is unrealistic to think that a newer and better technological flagship will be cheaper than the previous one!
There's some truth in what you are saying, but it's also more complex than that. Penon is not selling in a vacuum, it has to compete, and that will affect pricing. Also, better tech at lower prices has been the hallmark of technology in general and electronics in particular...

hmmm about the price I expected. the same as the Legend, which seems to be the least discussed Penon release. Although it is a follow-up to the popular Volt and a more enticing (for many) configuration than all-BA. For now I will fight temptation, wait for more reviews and comparisons, and continue revisiting the Legend. Listening to Bobby Hutcherson's Happenings album with the Legend/Sony WM1AM2 absolutely enthralled

VOLTAGE ordered. I'm really a fan of Volt which is a great value. VOLTAGE is more expensive but it has a lot more of tech. Also it seems to be quite an improvement. I don't think it will sound similar to the 10AE which I sold because it sounded a bit dark.

I'm also getting the ASOS+ which was a recommended pairing with VOLTAGE.

I didn't like the sound on the DOME, it sounded congested. Having the DTE900, which I've not heard, but understand has a better sound than the Dome.

I suggest to wait ✋️ there's a lot of offering to come from EPZ, Hisenior and others...

I was hoping for $999 for the Voltage. Maybe that ends up being the newsletter price?
