Not really lucrative because I stand to lose much lucre, but I’m selling because I prefer my current iem suite—Land, SA6, ESR2, and I need to pay down my debt. Can’t keep em all! But it’s been nice to exploreLucrative price, but why are you selling? What has not been satisfactory?

So you prefer Land more than Volt?

Empire Ears ESR Mk II.ESR2? what's that?

For the time being, I prefer Land and it’s more forward presentation. I’m fickle though. My tastes fluctuate, and I like exploring.

That is me as well. It can be mood. It can be weather. I can be allergies. That is why I cap my purchases at a certain price range. I keep my sets as I know my "ever-changing moods" will swing back to a particular set that I grew disinterested in using.Empire Ears ESR Mk II.

I totally get it. That’s actually why I’m planning on keeping my Volt. Even though some days it may sound a bit too mellow or even slightly dark for my tastes, I know the very next day, that smooth sound may be just what I really am craving. Of all IEMs I’ve heard, it is the king of smooth, yet technical. That’s a really good price BTW.I’m fickle though. My tastes fluctuate, and I like exploring.

I don't have a Volt. I only have the Globe. But it seems the "playing back vinyl" sense is part of the Penon house sound.add to that The Bass, the unique Mids (voices in particular) tuning. it's like im always playing back vinyl from a top shelf tt set...

Yes, they are. Most particularly on the Orbs. They're more on entertainment rather than analyze, so entertaining that i get lost in trance to the music and forget the finer details in the music. The Globes on the other hand, compared to the Orbs are added extended trebles and details and of course more energy...I don't have a Volt. I only have the Globe. Can anyone here tell me a comparison between Dunu DUW-02 and Penon OS849?

I have both the Orb & Globe like @ehjie does and I can attest that both shares the same DNA. But the Orb definitely has more of that vinyl vibe, whereas the Globe offers refinements. Just realized I’m almost repeating what @ehjie says... LOLYes, they are. Most particularly on the Orbs.
