Apparently these are whats up next for Penon. Currently I have no information about them, when they are releasing it. And so it seems the next IEM from Penon is the release of the new NEO3. I will post some information as soon as I get more word on them.

I just realized this new Tribrid could be the Volt MK2?

It's the Volt MKII but they told me it would have another name. Probably will be ready after the CNY.

Thanks!
I'm just trying to stay out of trouble..........of what I don't know cuz I stayed out of it? :)

It is funny as I see a volcano in the faceplate, like the one by my house. This is a hotel my brother and I go to every year, which has a better view of it.

Sorry to bother you, in reference to your forum post signatures, could I request that you add these spoiler tags to make it not such a great scrolling feat.

The Volt still a fantastic IEM. I can't wait for the MKII. I'm sure it will be more expensive but hopefully Penon uses the latest BA and EST drivers from Sonion.

My setup: Mojo2/Poly > Sinfonia > Penon Volt. This is a remarkable set at a very good price. Smooth but full bodied. Engaging mids with excellent upper treble extension. Probably it lacks a bit of weight but it provides all the energy you need. That's why it works amazingly well with any genre and it's not fatiguing. The bass has pretty good texture, it sounds rich. Accurate imaging and separation. I don't know if it's a Penon trademark but like the Impact, the Volt also has great dynamics and transients.

Great name for the Volt successor
Note to self: You don't need any more IEMs, you don't need any more IEMs, Noooo

Looking at possibly upgrading my DAC dongle from a Jcally JA3, but still trying to keep >$50. Does anyone know if a Tanchjin Space Lite (2 V) would give enough to power the Quattros? Only other option I think would be an EPZ TP20 and buying the Quattros with 4.4 mm balanced for extra power, but I do enjoy the versatility of 3.5 mm as well as having a smaller DAC.
