That track has both singers but the regular one doesn't seem to be in the vid. Weird. The one you see is Symphony X's and he tends to sing different for SX.

Nah, to be honest I've always been on the fence because I like the guitarist and drummer but not much else.

ps. @monsterzero I've been playing that Parasite Inc album on Spotify for days after you dropped them on here. Love it man. Thanks for that. They'd better make another!

Did ya break your own rule about black metal? lol. At least that's what I'm hearing from the vocals but the instrumentals seem different in a good way. Caught a couple good solos in the 3 minute and 4 minute mark

So many genres/sub-genres in metal its hard to say no to this and yes to that, but IMO Agalloch is very different in musical style than black/extreme metal....By golly what is that I hear...a melody...in metal...it mustve escaped from the zoo!?!

I have to agree: Agalloch is way beyond Black Metal, even though they use some of the trappings. I really recommend setting aside an hour or so, and listening to "The Mantle" all the way through. For some it is an unforgettable experience. My first time was in November, 2002, just after it came out, while I was in Cody, Wyoming :D

Not a fan at all of the blast beat/death growl/goofy font of death metal metal bands, but Agalloch doesnt fall into those stereotypes.
