Finally located my #!

I have the silver 325is, #409

I am so addicted to these headphones! ADDICTED.

I know that when we die, we "can't take it with us" but I'm finding a way to take these babies with me. I could listen to my 325is's for all eternity, and that probably still wouldn't be enough.

I second that. I also strongly believe that when we get to the "other side" they are going to try to make headphones sound like the SR325i.

I bought what I thought would be some 325is, but the pizza box says "325i" however the cans are silver.

I'm confused as to whether they are 325is or 325i..

Any thoughts?

jehugo - probably one of the first of the IS versions... what is the serial number? When they first changed over to the new versions, they hadn't yet changed the boxes.

Just want to say - loving these so far. They feel SUBSTANTIALLY more well-built than my old (original) 225s. No idea if the 225i approaches these, but they feel a lot nicer. Headband is nicer, cans have a lot more heft - the whole things just feels less "cheap" - I wasn't really impressed with the build quality of the 225s. Oh and the cable is thick! Seems to get twisted up a lot less easily, too.

right inside the box (written on inside of the box) #318

...and confirmed that #on underneath the bowls.

#7033 handsomely scratched on these. I just got 'em a couple of hours ago - used, from someone I believe has never heard of these forums. They are my first higher-end headphones, my only other acquisitions since I started caring about audio being Koss Portapros and the Senn PX100s.

Oh, and they're 325i's, but you got that.

eh, after listening to my beresford amp for a while I found the sound to be too laid back went back to using my klipsch promedia 2.1 headphone output which sounded more bright and natural which put me in a more hyper mood which I found myself appreciating at the moment. I am using the audio out from HDMI from my video card to the TV then TV fixed audio out to the promedia. It's nice to have different amp to be able to switch around when you get tired of one sound its help to make you appreciate the sound like its something new everytime you switch.
