Is there a post/resource that details some of the revisions that the U12T has gone through? I found a local seller offering a U12T with an older logo and now I’m curious as to how things differ.

I believe they had a problem with the glue holding the face plates on with the first and maybe second modelThe U12t has only had cosmetic updates. The design and tuning has remained the same.

I’m wondering if the faceplates can be replaced on fourte? I seen a set a guy had that had these incredible pure blue-green faceplates and mine is sort of bland looking. I’ll attach pics here. Would love to get some awesome shells like that!

Hi, yes we can accommodate that for sure. The problem is we want to avoid a lengthy back and forth regarding your cosmetic preferences. Because it is a real patina, each faceplate chip is unique. Anyone here have experience tip rolling for the tia trio who have medium-ish shallow ears? the only tips that seem to get me close to flush fit are those thin silicone 64 audio tips. any help is greatly appreciated!

Not trio, but I have the U12t, and I think the shape of these two are similar. I have good fit and comfort and sound with moondrop spring tips. They are essentially the thin silicone tips but sticky. I have flush fit and no ear pain.Anyone here have experience tip rolling for the tia trio who have medium-ish shallow ears? the only tips that seem to get me close to flush fit are those thin silicone 64 audio tips. any help is greatly appreciated!
The NF Audio MS42 is another option, though I don’t like the sound. Spinfit W1 was also good, but they extends the nozzle so you might not have a flush fit. I’ve bought velvet tips, Tangzu Sancai, and small xelastec tips to test. Will share further impressions.
Thanks for the reply! I ordered the ms42 for my divas and still waiting. W1’s are all quite too long but haven’t tried spring tips yet. I sold mine a while ago because I thought it killed the bass but might try again. Unfortunate the nozzle shape is different on the trio and causes them to stick out more. Also, xelastics are just too sticky for me and the sancais reduce the bass a tonNot trio, but I have the U12t, and I think the shape of these two are similar. I have the U12t's and could only get a seal and clean clear sound with the Azela's elastics but they stretch out and tear. I just tried the W-1's and I to thought they were to long so I cut 1/16 in.off the stems and they fit flush and sound END GAME and don't fall out or loose their shape. Someone back said Spinfit who makes the W-1's has a shorter stem version of the W-1. Does anybody recall the name? Was it Omni? Not trio, but I have the U12t, and I think the shape of these two are similar. I have good fit and comfort and sound with moondrop spring tips. Thanks for the pics, Do you happen to have a picture of the tip so we can see how close the end of the nozzle is to the tip? Does it seem like a cut down W-1 to you?Omni
