Azla crystal, xelastec, sednaearfit light short or spinfit W1 work best with my u12t (same shape as u4s). I have narrow and short ear canals so I do a lot of tip rolling to get comfortable fit.any recomendations for eartips for u4s?
Based on my experience, the nozzle length between models are not the same, the Trio is shorter than U12t for exampleI believe all 64 Audio IEMs have the same nozzle diameter & length; it's the angles which may differ. When properly seated the eartips should barely extend past the nozzle, almost flush. The Tia driver sits right at the nozzle. I believe there was a photo posted somewhere in the thread.
Owned and loved both, Trio is more fun and energetic but also pushes vocals a little back instead of an all-rounder U12tHappy U12t owner here. Is the tia Trió a good complementary pair to the U12t?
Thanks! This is likely my next pair. In your experience with the Trió, is there harshness/brightness/sibilance in any part of the frequency response?Owned and loved both, Trio is more fun and energetic but also pushes vocals a little back instead of an all-rounder U12t
To my ears, the highs on Trio are sparkle but they are not sib or harsh, the bass on it is 10/10 (it has detail, texture, and punch, a little mid-bass oriented)Thanks! This is likely my next pair. Also, how is the bass? I hear it’s more mid-bass focused than sub-bass focused.
If you want something that retains some of the bass performance while having improved vocals I don’t think you can go wrong with the U4s. With the new M12 module the Apex modules that comes with the U4s gives you some great options for the bass performance that you would be in the mood for on any given day. Plus the after market cable options are endless with the two-pin connections.Hi ive been a happy sony ier z1r user for a long time,
But i want another iem for my collection
I like the soubd signature if my z1r especially the bass, not the sub bass, but the punch and thumbs on it.
Anyway im still debating with myself wheter to get u12t, u4s or senn ie600
What i want is something punchy in the bass but also better vocal than my z1r
SOmetimes listening to z1r can be fatiguing so i want something relaxing for this one.
Thanks
Thanks! How’s the sub-bass on the Trió?To my ears, the highs on Trio are sparkle but they are not sib or harsh, the bass on it is 10/10 (it has detail, texture, and punch, a little mid-bass oriented)

Sub bass on the trio is very good. Notes have a lot of weight and it takes EQ very well. Compared to other sets there is a noticeable increase in slam/dynamics (small, but noticeable)Thanks! How’s the sub-bass on the Trió?
Gives the Trio 10 points, and U12t will be 7/10, I feel every "air" each time the sub-bass slams me, but it does not bloatThanks! How’s the sub-bass on the Trió?
I love the trio. There is a dip at around 1kHz, acting as a tuning “trick” to pull the soundstage a bit away from my head, giving Trio a large presentation. The rest of the good stuffs from U12t is there. The bass is more “bouncy” as well, likely due to the DD woofer.Happy U12t owner here. Is the tia Trió a good complementary pair to the U12t?
