I also got that Legacy Upgrade Program email, and I think I've caught the upgrade bug too. Been incredibly happy with my A12, but the allure of the A18s is really calling me. Gonna go visit their shop next month and demo them. Very excited to hear what a tia driver sounds like. Also excited to get to try the Fourte and Noir, but I don't think I could go back to a universal fit.

Side note, what do people do with their old CIEMs? I have a pair of V8 that I'm no longer using, and I assume that the A12 will just sit in a drawer after I get the A18s. 64 Audio doesn't offer re-shelling sadly, and I'd love to be able to gift the V8 to a friend at least.
You can still gift the V8 and have someone else reshell them, like itsfit, Naga Audio, Ambient Acoustics etc

A18 is incredible.

had my t for a year now and it remains the best neutral sig I’ve heard.

I’m next in line for the 18s demo with 64a. Looking forward to hearing them!

I just got off about a 20 minute phone call with a 64a rep

So far I’ve gathered that the A18s is a warmer IEM compared to the A18t, built off of the same driver count but quite different in tonality, the name is similar but the IEM fundamentally is brand new

Supposedly better bass and mids with smoother treble than the 18t and a speaker like presentation

bold is the main thing i'm interested in.

if they found a way to keep the realistic 18t sound signature, but create some of that magical fourte-esque staging, i'd be into it.

Hahaha Hype Hype I love the Fourte noire they are quiet super good ! The mids are the part that blows me away, Trio dont even stand near with mids! When I go to trio I feel like the mids have fallen into the clief they disappear. Fourte noire mids are big thick warm and very present really good.

I have absolutly no problems with treble folks its perfection! It has a new type of treble it sounds like an in between 2 worlds! Half electrostatic and half tia high L)

The noire are really well balanced and coherent and linear, no specific emphasis on any frequencies really smooth threw the whole line...

Trio is very V shaped in comparison, so far I love them and absolutely happy and proud of my purchase no regrets! FUN FACT Trio can have higher treble spike LOL the noire are very smooth in treble they dont zing in treble that much as trio! Even smoother !
Trio is a very fun sound signature if you like clubing hip hoping edm I think trio is the best in that regard. But if you are very serious about how your music sounds definitely get your self a fourte noire! Its the best most have ToTL Iem ever :) I love them.

ok, now those are reasonably legit impressions.

pw cables are incredible...i preferred the 50 to the 60 with my a18, but in general, pw cables are fantastic. top quality stuff, no doubt.

glad you're enjoying your new noir, @Vitaly2017!

Anyone got info on whether the a18s will have uiem model or not?
don’t have official info but I doubt it personally, considering it is intended for stage use - wouldn’t make too much sense from a marketing perspective
