So I’m on the 6th business day (7 if you count the day I had 64 audio add the rush processing) for my A18t and my status has gone backwards on my IEMs. Lol. On 2/13 I was all the way up to assembled and now it’s refreshed to 2/15 with the latest update being shells processed (it has gone backwards a step in 2 days).

Seems a bit odd?

Same thing happened to me. Something in the assembly process was not up to perfection and they went back and re-did it.

I think the 6-day turnaround time stated on 64A's website is optimistic. The bottom line is that 64A makes really high quality products, and it takes time to build them right.

There's no doubt you will receive your monitors much faster than if you had not rush-ordered your purchase. That said, 1 - 2 weeks seems like a reasonable time window for when to expect your A18, based on past experience.

Hope you get these in your ears soon, evo!

Would you say that 64 audio IEM's are the endgame, as in there is nothing better?

64 definitely make some of the best IEMs on the market, but you need to take personal preference into account as well. There are IEMs that perform on a similar playing field as the A18t, but you may prefer more (or less) based on timbre or any other miscellaneous aspect.

A18 are the best all-arounder I've heard. I also like the legend x, but its bass presentation keeps it from being as good of an all-arounder to me.

The tia treble is simply one of the best high-end presentations I've ever heard from any transducer, period. The custom is also far superior to the universal version, in my experience.

At the end of the day, of course, everything is a matter of opinion; what is the best to me, may not be the best to you. For me, the A18 is the best I've heard to date. It is a spectacular piece of technology that I feel fortunate to own.

The only thing I can really think of is if you like dynamic drivers (I personally have never been a fan of dd bass - I find it bloated and slow...nearly always...in comparison to ba bass.). If you like dd bass, the A18 may not be for you.

To me, the 8 small BAs making bass in the A18 are just masterfully executed; the combination of speed and power gives the A18 the most versatile bass response I've ever heard.
