A far cry from their V6/V6S days when their 6 driver is nearly 1/2 the price of their current 6 drivers 😅

I still wouldn’t call £$1500 affordable to the current masses honestly. Something sub 1000 and a bit more up to date than the venerable a2e would be welcome.

Sure, the keyword in my post being the word “more” affordable. I’m not saying (if it does cost this much) $1200 is pocket change but it’s still a significant drop compared to the $1700 Nio.

Having listened to Fourte for 2 days now, I now realize how important imaging is in earphones, at least for me. When you listen to music your mind often tries to create an image of the instruments and the singers voice for you , and with less precise earphones it becomes a struggle when something sounds out of place, less defined or more dominant in the mix. With Fourte this is very effortless with how perfect the imaging and positioning is. It add a lot to the experience. I don't know if this is a trait with all 64 audio products, but I'm loving it with Fourte. The incredible resolution, clarity , layering and stage doesn't hurt either.

The Fourte has the best imaging, staging and separation I've heard from any IEM bar one. The only IEM that matches it is Traillii. There's a reason it's still 64 Audio's flagship 4 years after it was first released.

I’d like to hear these but I hesitate to buy them considering I will most likely prefer Traillii. Can we get a canjam up in here ????!?
I think you are all set. I haven't seen half the amount of praise that the bird is getting for the Fourte.

a major difference for me between the two is overall cohesion.

but, I do remember the fourte being extremely unique and pleasing to listen to, which is why I will be revisiting it soon.

the fact that it is relevant 4 years later is indeed impressive.

Not surprise for praises of an iem in its own thread
As a big fan of the Fourte, I am happy to also praise the Bird here if you wish
