Can anybody please confirm to me, that Trio has the same shape as Fourte? Because while U18 fit me greatly, had problems with Fourte.

Can anybody please confirm to me, that Trio has the same shape as Fourte? Because while U18 fit me greatly, had problems with Fourte.

I find U18 and Fourte to be very close in shape, just a subtle difference. Since I only have Sample X and Y from RMAF, can't judge 100% the final shell, but everything points to Trio being similar to Fourte in shape.

Nice, I won the U12t. From the looks of it, it appears that they come with the upgraded cable or is that a new basic cable? Love the looks of both of these models, specially the trio.

What.. I just placed my order for the Tia Fourte and these come out. I need to postpone my order now to try out the Trio. How does the Trio stack up to the Fourté.

@twister6 said he's working on a write-up to compare them all on a prior post. Should wait for his thoughts, as he's the only one I know who has heard the new models extensively.

I know the U12 very well, but never heard Ando. However, based on every impression I've read, they are as far from one another as you can get in terms of signature. The U12 is super warm, laid-back, and lush. Ando is said to be sort of bright, aggressive, and detailed.

My two cents, but I agree completely with Pinky here. The Andromeda was very analytical and the U12 is more fun, musical. I do disagree with another comment that the Bass on the Vega and U8 are both too heavy. Again that's why you need to listen yourself.

As far as Vega vs Andromeda I preferred the Vega.

Andro for me is perfectly balanced rather than too analytical. The treble has incredible extension and sparkle w/o any sibilance which is impressive. I much prefer it to the bass heavy Vega but I suspect music genre preference plays a big factor too.

I was planning to grab the Fourte since I've read many mention a similar signature to Andro. But w/o the 20% I may go for the Trio instead.

For those that have heard the newer products, would you suggest waiting on purchasing the Fourté?
