Eclectic, experimental, unusual, funky, John Kaada from Norway.

EDIT - I know who this reminds me of, Fat Boy Slim and the more drum'n'bass Jaga Jazzist albums.

Iceland's Mugison. Eclectic, sounds like improvisation, mellow, er having a difficult time describing this sound.

It's hard to pin down Mugison I agree.
'Mugiboogie' f.ex. is everything from southern blues and 60s pop to straight up metal and power ballads.
Kaada and Mugison in my ears have a lot in common. They both produce very varied music, never holding on to one style for much longer than an album, but still possess a personal character that can't help but shine through.
And they're both signed to Pattons Ipecac Recordings, of course.

This one is even harder to pin down and I love that...

I don't think Pekka Pohjola got mentioned here? Great Mike Oldfield-ish prog rock/jazz fusion from Finland. Also check Wigwam.

There is a good choice of Pekka Pohjola on Spotify, but Wigwam are not available outside of Finland....

The latest Dungen album (apologies for apparently swearing in Swedish!) called 'Skit I Allt'. Very melodic and sweet.

The Divine Baze Orchestra, from Sweden and the album 'Dead but Dreaming' . Released last year but with a 1970s sound of Deep Purple meets Genesis. Excellent.

Quirky Beardfish and their latest album 'Destination Solitaire'. An English 1970s folk, anthemic prog sound.
