Hey everyone, I got a faulty cable, I wanted to solder but I cannot figure out which one is which (there are 4 cables plus the ground) have any of you been able to fix by yourself the cable? Thanks

4+1 wire?....is it a after market cable with mic/remote or the stock? I guess you have the removable cable version from the first batch.

Ok fair enough,you can check the continuity between the cut ends of those five wires and the jack end......Its the copper wire (not enameled) is the common ground(grnd for both L & R) and 2 each of remaining 4 wires are used for L + & R+.

Just ordered a pair of the upgraded vsd3s' . I own vsd1s and havi b3 pro1's which I love so really looking forward to comparing them .
This is the cable, I dont even know if the copper cable around is just decoration...
Anything around a cable on the outside is never a decoration. It will always either be insulation, a active signal line, ground or shielding, or protection for the inner wiring core.

Is it that bad? The sound is different from the originals? I have the originals and they sound really good after several hours of burn in
