You will not void the warranty by tightening the screws. The ear pads pull off as they are replaceable. Really simple and will only take you a couple of minutes.
Well, i tried tightening the screws, buzzing is still present. They were tight enough, so i just didn't use too much force. Also noticed when i push the right ear cup to my ear, the buzzing stops. Played around a bit with the Oratory EQ, turned the lows down just a touch, but if i turn the bass boost on the Zen Can, buzzing gets a bit worse on some tracks.

I’m trying out the HD 400 Pro right now. Basically the same headphone as the HD 560 S but with much better cables. I hated the cable on the HD 560 S as I found it a very microphonic and janky mess, not the case at all with either of the HD 400 Pro’s cables. If you can find the HD 400 Pro close in price it would be ideal to get them over the HD 560 S imho. I was unfair to the HD 560 S in the past due to bad system synergy, it did not like my old system at all, but this headphone sounds fantastic on my current setup.
Recieved my replacement pair yesterday, and they also have the buzzing in the right cup, though not as noticable as the first pair. Have not tried tightening the screws yet. Im starting to think maybe its the driver? Or i am pushing them too much? With no bass boost, and just the EQ applied, i can hear it. Compared the batch numbers and the second pair is from a first or a second batch, they were fairly dusty in the box too.

It could be in your head, no kidding. Medical symptom if you were listening to loud for a long time. Suggesting to verify by someone else or at least test wearing headphones reversed (left can on the right ear).
Amp can trigger oscilations as well, check with other amp.
2.5mm balanced cable of Ali, it works, no need to open and check if hd560s is wired in balanced way, hidizs s9 pro @ balanced mode + hd560s, working perfectly, can't tell if this or 3.5mm better, but seems good
And for those that don't know, the supplied 3 metre cable has 4 cores.
Which means that it requires only the appropriate amp-end connector for balanced use.

This is my first post in this forum , and as a new owner of HD 560s have a question . I am sorry as english is not my native lingua but will try to be clear as I can.
I bought HD560s 2 weeks ago and the sole reason to use with Xbox series X and what a upgrade has been from the hyper cloud x
So using with xbox controller series x gets plenty of loud and happy with that and the sound is fantastic but thinking if I can get more of those lovely headphones
Connected to Sony XH95 headphone jack the sound is louder and fuller but is a slight delay
the tv has optical audio, and what are my options in order to use a dac/amp connected to tv with headphones or even hdmi audio extractor as xbox dont have optical /usb audio output . Also with HD560s conected to a wired xbox controller has a better sound quality compared to wireless controller ?
thank you
I enjoy my HD 560S straight out of my MacBook Pro 14 DAC and sounds like a bliss. They are tuned so perfectly that works with every genre. Crystal clear sound and perfect imaging. While soundstage is basically non existing, imaging capabilities are so good now I rank higher in my CoD Warzone II matches with my instant turns.
I'll keep HD 560S as long as I can in my collection. They will be great alternatives to my future purchases such as Arya when I want to do some quick work and not want to utilize full setup.

Thanks for the awesome feedback! We hope its capabilities and sonic footprint become a regular part of your listening vocabulary, acting as a benchmark for future rigs. Cheers!
It's probably already been said, but these are truly exceptional for gaming. The imaging and staging is really nice, I think I can more precisely pick out footsteps and ambient sounds positioning than my Focal Clear, which is impressive considering these cost me £90 on the refurb store.

Glad you're enjoying them! These are a "gets even better with time" set of cans, as you acclimate to the balanced, honest and fairly neutral sound. What games are you playing with them?

I've been playing Overwatch a lot, and the way they image sound and details is superb. For reference I use Focal Clears too, but i think these have a larger stage and are a bit more precise for gaming.
Overall, after 2 weeks with them I think they're the best value audio product I've tried. The sound quality is just exceptional at this price, what a time to be into audio and get this kind of performance for 100-200 dollars. Bravo Sennheiser!
