Looks like a warmer, less shouty and more extended S8. Not sure I'll prefer it to them as I really like the S8 with Complys and the right cable but this should be much less fussy about associations and work for everyone. I'd never consider making S8's into customs due to the lack of tip tuning(for my preferences) but this could be viable.

Reviews shouldn't be long now. One thing that probably won't come up and is typical of dynamic drive IEMs is since most are rear vented, isolation will be, at least, a few DB worse than a fully sealed BA system though I suspect this woofer arrangement will be a bit better in that regard than a single open back driver.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We made a Reddit post on the same thread to address the situation. We pride ourselves on giving quality customer support and we feel that it is only right to understand the whole situation fairly.

That looks like the consumer didn't take enough care on the swap to completely yank out the internal wires like that. The way it broke the case with that extra plastic not still on the 2 pin would make the sellers think the same or that it broke another way. Really looks like the cable got snagged etc, pulled from the side and levered a chunk out while continuing to pull out the wires that have internal slack. Even if it broke while changing cables, there's no reason the internal wires should have pulled off with any care at all.

That said, sellers really do need to give buyers the benefit of doubt if they want to do this sort of higher volume mail order business. Apos would lose more in time, effort and reduced sales denying something like this than just correcting it. Nice to see that APOS agrees.

I own the Dark Saber and the shell is not fragile at all.

I was planning to buy it a month ago.
