For my use case. I actually have an Ifi Gryphon which I love, but I generally use this at home and the Apple dongle for travel to keep things lightweight. I was thinking about the Go Link Max to replace the Apple dongle and get a bit more out of my iPhone. I also generally use 4.4mm cables so there is the added benefit of not switching cables. I’m not expecting a huge difference but sometimes a new toy is fun right?

We certainly appreciate you giving it a go, and if possible let us know how it compares so others can benefit from your experience!

Hi guys, I'm on the verge of pushing the button on this product to use with an iPhone 15 Pro Max. One question I had, does the USB-C plug offer enough clearance to fit an iPhone with a case? I'm using the official Apple silicone case and don't want to have to remove it to use the Go Link Max.

Not an iPhone, but I had to slightly cut around the port hole on my UAG S22 Ultra case in order for the iFi plug to fit completely.

I have an iPhone 11 with a Magsafe case and do not have to remove it for the Go link.

Focal Clear pairs very well with the Go Link Max, I dont see much of ESS brightness with this dongle which is a good thing, it still resolves very well, basically a very good dongle especially at this price.

Did iFi "tune" the iFi Go Link Max with the Letshuoer S12 (2024)? Yeah, I know you don't necessarily tune a dac, but the sheer magnificence of this synergy between the two pretty much leapfrogs the S12 (2024) to the top of my planar heap with this rig. If you have the S12 (2024), you owe it to yourself to pick up the GLM, and put this combo to the test! Mine is in 4.4mm balanced.

Dear friends here is my iFi GO link Max review for anyone interested. This is the most compact sized USB DAC dongle I know with both true balanced and single-ended outputs.

It doesn't have any bells and whistles but it offers good sound quality and plenty of power in portable and lightweight design. Just like a real portable USB DAC dongle should be.

I tend to pack both in a bag if I’m off out. Each has its use in different situations.
