They are mine. A nice upgrade from the JH16 Freq Phase. The bass adjustment is very effective too.

I see you also list having the Layla, have you had a chance to compare the two yet?

That will be part of the upcoming review in Headphone.guru....

Any comparison with the JH16 would be useful too :)

Thanks for the review of the JH16v2! I just put down some money for a pair and am waiting for my appointment to do impressions. However I am still on the fence between the Roxanne and teh JH16v2. I am a drummer looking for a new sound after using my Futuresoncis M6 for 8 years (still going strong!)

What are your thoughts on both as a comparison?

It should hit tomorrow on headphone.guru

The Roxanne's are also excellent. I do not have a lot of time with them however. The 16's and the new V2's have been a long time favorite. They just work for me. With the added benefit of the adjustable bass I was more than satisfied with these new v2's.

Good luck. Either way you win!

Picked up a pair of v1's from FS forums here. Just got them back from resheller yesterday, think they came out pretty well. They sound good. These days I'm normally listening through a pair of Tannoy LGM's. Headphone wise it's been a Kaldas RR1. The JH-16 sounds a bit muted in comparison, missing a bit of air/sparkle on top. Very much impressed by the bass on these. So far my source has been Twisted Pear Opus DAC and Rudistor RPX-33, through a pc.
