What a week, received HiFiMan HE-560, UiiSii CM5, **** ASE and Willsound MK2 and have a stinking flu so cannot really appreciate anything
But maybe listening will still help you heal faster! You can blast the flu out of your head with sound waves; we can find some science to back that, right? At the very least, there isn't anything that says it doesn't have an impact

Don't get me wrong, those look good, but they kind of look like a prettier version of Skullcandy Crushers.

I'll bet ya a pair of those Cascades that they sound better than the Skullcandy Crushers :p. Also, couldn't tell immediately, but someone mentioned in the announcement thread for it that it looks might be a lemo connection? I dunno how exactly to qualify that without confirmation from CA, but it looks like something at least similar when looking at the image of the included cable.

Next week's looking like a good audio week for me. Supposed to have an Audeze iSine10 come in followed by the Massdrop Plus the next day :D

At least that means it's not lost in limbo. Not much longer now!

Funny part is that Bob sent a second pair out this tuesday because the other one was lost for 2 weeks... It's that one that showed up. :p So just goes to show that UK to Montreal is not long at all... Also that Toronto's customs is a mess as opposed to Montreal customs (First one dropped in Toronto, dissapeared. Second one dropped in Montreal, 4 days to deliver)

Can anyone recommend some full size headphones (closed back) any where around $100.00 My 16 year old son has asked me for some recommendations. He will be using them with an iPhone 6s and a MacBook pro. He wants to pay for them, so he would really like to be under the $100.00 so I guess I won't be buying him the Sennheiser Bubbles or the Camp Fire Crushers :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Any advice will be much appreciated, thanks

I think a company called Trinity Audio were offering some exciting-looking closed/open ones at around £150.
Perhaps you could try those? Discounted price, and guaranteed next week shipping :)

I like the shp9500s at that price point. Although some say they're a bit grainy, I modded them with a closed back seal and they improved by a lot. All in all it's 100$ well spent.
