it's quite easy to do, but you'll need a lot of patience. i spray painted it too because the neutrik plugs are silver, i want to maintain the black color scheme.
How did you cut the metal plugs?
Any idea when the DX50 from mp4nation will be shipped if ordered after the 14th?
It states that it will be shipped on the 26th but until now the status of my order is still processing.

i didn't cut anything, what i did was just remove 1 part.
the right most part (the one with metal and rubber) - all i did was remove that cylindrical part, then connect the rubber part directly to the right angle part - you now have a modified right angle neutrik plug!
but doesn't the right part screw on to make it tight?
yes it does. so you have to "compensate" by using metal adhesives to keep everything nicely in place

Is it possible to cut the black ones which are plastic?
