Can anyone comment on the SQ of the new firmware?
I noticed a sizable upgrade in SQ with the new firmware, or am I crazy.
 
Its more 3D in sound and no longer flat. Try the SQ with the DAC. Its now really good.

That is the correct bit/sample rate information for DSD. It samples 1 bit at 2.8224 MHz (i.e. 2822.4 kHz). It's a pulse-width sort of thing--totally different from PCM, 24bit/48kHz or otherwise.

Are you saying you hear a difference between 1.9.2 and 1.9.3?

I will check it out when I get the chance. I wasn't a fan of the 1.9.2 sound.

Wintec file mate 128gb class 10 $34 that has to be the cheapest I've seen for a 128gb.

If You have it, try to write it full and see if it is working correctly and do speed test also. That`s absurdly low price for 128gb. Makes me suspicious about it being "grade B" leftover from factory or something...

It's a steal if it works correctly.

im having an issue here, on Win 8.1 pro, with the latest driver for the dx50 usb dac and the 1.9.3 firmware, when playing music it always clicks on the first seconds and some tracks later i loose the right channel. is there something wrong i am doing?
any help is appreciated
all music is flac on 16 and 24 bits and the dx50 is connected via an 3.0 usb port.
