Fortunately not. Crisper means probably more transparent, more detailed (IMHO). Upgraded from 1.2.2. Listening on O2+LCD-2 rev.1 (quite unforgiving setup ).

That is what I am hearing. Clean upper frequencies and very tuneful controlled bass. I also hear more acoustical hall sound.

Thanks! I can't myself see a difference between 96 and 44.1 when I compare identical recordings, but that's another story.

I am in the process of finding this out but my 64 and 128 bit samples download got cut very short prematurely. If I can download those again, I'll be in better measure to confirm
