I just noticed that all of the 5th batch is reserved and now they are on there 6th batch. These are still selling really well with pretty minimal complaints.

Even though the bugs thread is alive and well, I have to stay I've had a mostly positive experience with the DX50.  Outside of an occasional hang, it does what I want without a hassle.  I have an 64gb SD card with only FLAC - mostly hi-res - organized pretty much as Artist/Album (a little different for classical).  I have clean tags, file names short and prefixed by 2-digit track number, copy the files to the SD card using CopyInOrder. I access my music by Artist->Album or by Album directly.  I only play full albums - no playlists or anything like that.  The album tracks play in the proper order. Nothing fancy. For my purposes the DX50 has been great.  Maybe I'd have a different experience if I tried to use it in a different manner.

Damn it guys, we NEED to press iBasso to implement the same feature. if fiio can do it, iBasso can do it more. either this, or iBasso will lose some sales over X3...

+1
Been listening to the 1plus2 on my HDP-R10 the whole day and switched over to the DX50 and it still sound damn good. There is definitely not a $650 difference there. On high gain these sound awesome!

Well I have taken the plunge and I have bought a DX50 to see what it sounds like with my DreamEarz AUD-8x CIEM. I wanted to try one and compare it against my AK120 to see whether there is actually $700 worh of sound difference to my ears. Mainly bought about by the fact that my iPhone 5 drives the AUD-8x exceedingly well and sounds amazing......it's made me question the benefit of a $1000+ DAP.

My only concern is that with the AK120 I get 192Gb of memory (64Gb Internal & 2 x 64Gb Micro SD Cards) - The DX50 only has 8Gb internal memory and 1 card slot. I really dont want to have to keep swapping SD cards around when I want to listen to something :frowning2:

I have seen mentioned on here that some people have said you can use USB Flash Drive with the DX50...how does this work?

Does it need to be a specific type of USB Flash Drive?

How does it connect to the DX50?

Would I be able to use a 128Gb USB flash drive with the DX50?

Hope someone can answer these questions :)
