Guys, my DX50 shutdown instantly after showing the iBasso logo... what happened? did my DX50 officially dead or my battery was the one in charge of this issue? please help, thank you very much in advance

Have you plugged in the DX50 to charge it? The few times I have seen any of the daps do this is when the battery was totally discharged and it needed to be recharged. If there was no firmware change it would is normally unlikely that it would be FW or hardware but please let us know if this gets resolved or you need further help.

I have charged it for 5 hours... and the result is a red "Low battery" text. I think the battery just died....... Should I try other cables and chargers to see if it really died or not?

Just try another battery. Galaxy S3 / i9300 fit as replacement. These are good quality (not fake) batteries:
1) Polarcell Akku (HQ battery): http://ebay.eu/2ad81ut
2) FourHeart (I have it and it is 100% Japan cell by etched code under sticker): http://bit.ly/2aJDupX
3) Anker (HQ battery): http://ebay.eu/2alByqs

There are also some good ones from asia also, like KINPS (I`ve bought it 2 times and they are good):
4) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Kinps®2500mAh-Extended-Battery-Samsung-GT-I9300/dp/B00HE9Y0Z6 (must be with orange/purple/white sticker)

but there are so many fake & bad quality batteries out there on web. Be aware!
I would go for Anker, Polarcell or re-branded Japan/Samsung cell (if You are 100% sure they have legit etched code under sticker). And also - don`t follow those absurdly high numbered "high capacity" asian batteries - they won`t last longer. HQ 2100mAh battery will last even longer as those cheap ones.

Used, bad-cell, smaller cell re-labeled batteries is very dirty business in asia (and hence resellers worldwide) and there can be even legit looking packaged Samsung batteries that are fakes and not Japan made. So, You are warned

Glad it worked out. CoiL gives you some very good advice. It is also good to have a backup battery.

Sure thing, i was thinking about it too

maybe it's time to have a backup battery around... just in case

Enhances the sound quality too!
I use an Anker replacement Samsung Galaxy S3 battery in the DX50 and DX90 and it's a notable improvement

Yes, there have been reports about HQ battery having better "juice" and sound. I can`t confirm it since my DX50 is heavily modded by now and I do not notice any difference between batteries.
Though, with stock hardware there might be slight difference with used battery and new HQ one due to capacitors and power circuit filtering and opamps used.

I hope dx50 has "usb out" feature from next fw update, I think its important feature

Why do You need that? Haven`t ran into needing this kind of function yet.

To bypass dx50's dac & amp with external dac/amp.

For that, get DAC/Amp with SPDIF/Coaxial input, so You could use DX50 as transport player. Most DAC/Amps should have SPDIF/Coaxial input. What DAC/Amp You are using that You wish for USB-digital-out function?

Aaaaah, I see... pity that DX50 doesn`t work out for Your DAC/Amp.
