I got the Auvi NX10 stereo. Not Hi-MD but still.
The DR-7 is a solid unit, the satin finish is great.

Fully agree sfwalcer, Dad used to import Sony stuff all the time and it was a case of Neighbours envy, owners pride. Sony was the King of the 80s and the 90s. Even our alarm clock was Sony!
