I ordered my GS-X Mk2 on Sept. 20th and received a note from Justin stating that he expects it to ship today.

From what I read they certainly have. I received my tracking number yesterday and expect to receive the GS-X on Saturday. But, these are custom built high end products for a very niche market. A wait time is to be expected, especially considering Justin's attention to detail. I have no problem with that, as they always deliver a high quality product.

I haven't seen many comments that pair the GS-X Mk2 with a Benchmark DAC3, but I placed an order for one and expect it'll be an extremely neutral pairing. Hopefully a nice upgrade from my older PS Audio Digital Link III.

FedEx delivered my GS-X Mk2 today. Right now I have it paired with a PS Audio Digital Link III DAC, but will be receiving a Benchmark DAC3 in a few days. So far I'm very impressed. It sounds excellent with my T1.2's, and I'm very excited to see how the DAC3 changes things.

Boy oh boy, I have been missing out. DAC's have come a lot way since I bought my PS Audio DL III. I now have the Benchmark DAC3 B hooked up to the GS-X Mk2, driving my T1.2's in balanced mode. Tool's new album Fear Inoculum has a lot of really cool easter eggs that I'm hearing for the first time. I was looking for the most resolving DAC and amp I could find within my budget, and this combo is perfect so far. I've never heard these headphones driven like this before.

Perfect example: During the song Pneuma, I can now distinctly hear what sound like echoes of the vocals in the left channel from 5:00 to 5:32. Tool still records a lot to tape, and I'm wondering if this is an artifact of the recording or mixing process? Whether intentional or not, I love hearing these types of things.

Has anyone paired this amp with a Hugo TT2?
The amp i have now, Feliks Euforia, is just not up to driving my headphones like the TT2 is.
Could i see improvement on the TT2 headphone stage?

I maybe used the wrong word. "driving" is not what i meant. There is no lack in power. But the headphone stage of the TT2 sounds better. Atleat to my ears then
the Euforia.
But im still addicted to gear so I was wondering if the headphone output on the Gsx Mk2 sounds even better.
