Hey Justin.  For the GS-1 can you please tell me how many watts there is into 60 ohms cans vs. the module?  When the time comes, how do we go about ordering one?

I'll want new modules.
 
Possibly a new replacement silver GS-X as well, because even more output power would certainly be nice. Unless, of course, I can send mine in to be upgraded however it needs to be in order to support the highest power capability (I'm guessing you modified the PSU as well?). But if existing GS-X units can't be modified, I'll probably want a new one.
 
Btw, how about either Dynamed or Dynamo, instead of Dynalo+?

the power transformers in the original GS-X are too small to support both the higher voltage and higher current in the new modules (so you'd just get the benefit of higher current).  the next size up in that transformer model is too tall for the enclosure.  So, I am switching to chassis mounted transformers that are 66% larger than in the original amp.

Not sure how you're immediately jumping to the conclusion that there'd be a change to the GS-X enclosure for the updated PSU. Justin mentioned chassis-mounting the transformers as his solution for larger transformers, not a new enclosure. (Justin is also the kind of person who would say if there'd be a change to the enclosure, so you can count that out.) Chassis-mounting sounds like a clever solution to me and is probably way more cost-effective than ordering new enclosures.

True that.  I was mistaking,  When I talked to Justin at the DC meet he said something to the fact that:

yes, if i have anything besides my prototype set of new modules.  the transistors for the new modules arent supposed to ship until 9/28, then figure about 2 weeks for assembly + shipping both ways
