@ e-h: They should.

Grados have low impedance and low SPL. Due to the impedance you should have no problem driving them correctly with a portable player. Due to the low SPL you might need more volume to hear the music with more "body". By body I mean volume, as it is very easy to be fooled by thinking more volume = better sound.

Do this HF2 have the same (close) energy of the Grado Reference Series, or the same (close) midrange sweetness that grados are known for?
This was the motive that I didn't got the MS2i or MSpro. I want a Grado to be a Grado if you understand what I mean. (And this might be the chance for those who live in Europe)

All of the reports from canjam said that it is without a doubt a grado. That is all that some people said, as they didn't have time for a lot of comparisons. One person I clearly remember saying this was Uncle Erik. I think that it was near the beginning of the canjam impressions thread.

Thanks mate! I generally like listening to lower volumes, but enjoy my SR60's except for their slightly tiring top end with my amplifier.
