My order was placed w/ Jaben at the end of Feb. I got the customs at the beginning of April.

Honestly, that's not a bad wait time. It took JH Audio longer than that for a domestic order. Then again, the volume of orders is much bigger for JH.

Thanks for the replies! Actually Jaben HK told me it would take around 1 month...hopefully this will be true! I guess I'll have to be patient

Hopefully, the MH335DW will allow me to downsize my home rig which I haven't had much time to listen to since I started a new job.

I had my pair done at the pretty much the same time as MuppetFace's and the 6 weeks turnaround was due to waiting for parts on the spring loaded connectors, which have been resolved now.

However, I am hearing that FitEar are pretty much still inundated with orders............

On another note, the quick release latches on the 335 really saved my ears the other day.

I was using my pair with the Studio V and I had just put the Studio V back into the carry case which was filled with other things. It must have been a tight fit and the something inside the case was pressing the volume button and it maxed out. I had the 335 off before the volume reached maximum but I think with other Customs I would have needed to see a EMT specialist again................

Very interested on the "quick release latches" that the 335dw employs...

Could you elaborate more on this spkrs01? Maybe with some pictures?

The only thing that irks me about custom is that it takes forever to put them on and off and especially when you need to listen to somebody else. . Taking off is really a pain in the lol. .. so yeah its really interesting what fitear has done with its custom...

That's a picture of latches. It become a lot easier to take it off. Only a couple second for me to take it out.

Yeah, it's the little things like this that come together as a whole to make FitEar a cut above others. Their attention to detail is just fantastic.

So much so that other customs have kind of been spoiled for me. Got my Freq-Phase JH16Pro in, and while it sounds nice, the build quality is pretty pathetic. The ends of the stems look unfinished and are so rough they cut my ears if I'm not careful. Cable pins don't sit flush. Shell looks a little dull and lacks the luster and solid feeling of FitEar's work. Then there's the fit which, while good, still falls short of my MH335DWs. The latter practically disappear when worn.

For having seens Fitear build, I agree on the quality. But it is unacceptable that the JH should be like this. My Miracles have none of the characteristics you mention, they are impeccably finished (though not with the Fitear Maestria).

Oh, I wasn't implying that all other customs have these qualities. Some do. Some don't. It's a whole spectrum with FitEar at the top for me. That includes several other manufacturers I've tried, some of which are quite well respected and known for their build quality and attention to detail.

I mention the JHAs specifically because I went straight from the FitEars to them, so the discrepancy was all the more extreme perceptibly.

One thing I will say is that for me personally the fit on the MH335DW is a major improvement over the other four CIEMs I've used before. My ears are kind of small-ish however, and my ear canals are straight and narrow like soda straws (the bends are hardly visible). The FitEars are just refreshingly comfortable for me.

You have made my decision for me....I have been deliberating over the JH 13&16 for a long long time but I have decided to order the C435 next week. So the 13 & 16 will wait longer...

Neither was I saying you did :) my meaning was more that between 1k and 2k, build should be irreprochable. I am still on the fence with the 335 Sig....I will wait for Gavin's comparison with Miracles and se5.

They are very easy to put on too....Like a few secs.....they only reach up to the second bend plus the stem is lose fitting........
