The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

Sony is a dynamic one, any high-class BA IEM will be better.

P. S. I would recommend looking at Canal Works instead though.
Someone else already answered it in short but no, the IER-M9 is an 5-way 5-BA IEM. It does not have an Dynamic Driver.

Could you explain why i should rather look at Canal Works than FitEar? What would be the corresponding Canal Works IEM and what would be the advantages and disadvantages over the IER-M9 or TG335?

Did you hear the TG335 yet? What did you not like about it? A bit more information would be appreciated.

No Sony is not a dynamic one, its a 5BA IEM, same as 335 on paper.

Thank you for a correction about Sony. Apparently I confused it with another model.

Well, I am not saying what you “should” do of course, that you better decide for yourself, but I think CW offer [possibly] better products and surely more competitively priced.

I have tried another FitEar model time ago in some Hong Kong high-fi salon, not TG335. Not been overly impressed. Other than that my opinion is research-based for FitEar part. Of Canal Works I have three IEMs. These are the only IEMs I am able to get sound quality comparable to my Stax :)

I found someone who actually owns the TG355 (he got it when it was called To Go 335) and the IER-M9 too. He was kind enough to compare them in detail to me and I decided to stay with the IER-M9 unless I have an chance to really demo them. After his description the risk is too high for me because I would be unable to return them

It's quite impossible communicating with Japanese vendors, most especially artisans the likes of Fitear; it’s only wise to go through someone who can take care of the after-sale service and support, which as far as CIEMS go, and more so for a radical titanium design, Wilson is a lifetime insurance that is priceless.

Why go through the hassle when you can just message @Uncle Wilson and pay it online? Lol

Beautiful pairing: the FitEar DC/Eletech Iliad with the Luxury & Precision LP6Ti AE. Gorgeous sonics. :)

The mighty FitEar Titan meets the Luxury & Precision LP6Ti 7th Anniversary Edition. And the Eletech Plato/Socrates 8 cables. Makes for a lovely evening of listening over this holiday season. :)
