The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread

Is the FitEar To Go! 334 discontinued ?

The TG334's are still being produced, but now on a case by case basis, meaning that sans the ear impressions, the process of purchasing one is no different from that of purchasing a pair of customs (you have to be Japanese or reside in Japan to apply to buy them, and also fill in the relevant paperworks etc...)

this is wrong. You still can order TG334 from their distributors.

So they can still be bought. The problem is that they are customs without an universal option like Roxanne's. Unfortunately.
How is the sound signature of  FitEar MH335DW compared to 334 ?

TG334 is the universal version just like the AKR03 Roxanne. MH334 is the custom version.

Both are built from orders, not stocked in retail stores.

Oh. My Bad.
So 335 has a universal version too ?

It was announced but yet to be released. No word on any dates too.

"Official" lineup if I'm not wrong again. There is a few universal models that were released at limited quantities such as the Fujiya Avic's 222 or the Melomane, not to mention the AKR08 and the now discontinued C435 customs

More like "current" lineup. There were some discontinued stuff like Melomane and C435 like you said.

Hi, I had my FitEar MH335DW delivered recently.
I read statement that to eligible for SR upgrade you need to have three bores.
Is it true ? or have someone with two bores able to get SR upgrade ?

Thanks...

Currently, the only accurate way to tell if your 335 is eligible for upgrade is to send them to FitEar for their checking, or let Suyama san check for you if he came to your place. You will get a certificate that tells your 335 can upgrade or not and you need to submit that certificate to FitEar when you order for the upgrade.
