I sometimes question myself whether the manufacturer is in the right mind.Don't check out the DCS stacks then
That is also very expensive. Worth more than a car. Scary pricing.
Interesting video from Darko that goes deeper into that subject...

Never really like that guy...
The Stabilized runs. I already see 3 pairs of Stabilized selling for $2500 near me. Back when I was in the market for one, I even saw one for $2350 albeit being dinged up a bit. I went into the VC Stabilized thinking they would hold value, or at least I won't lose too much. They turned out to be my fastest "depreciating" headphone.Do you mean the custom ones will nuke in price? I see the custom ones as unique to the individual, which means only to them it's worth more.
For customs, I think what will happen is an options list where you just spec your headphone.

Just look at ZMF for a perfect example of that logic!

Good example there
With a limited run of 200 units, i guess there will be very limited impressions on these. Since there is a change in driver and materials, there will certainly be a change in sound. Hard to risk 4 grand buying blinded.
I understand where you're coming from! Logically, I assume most people buying this are those that have already head the non-limited version and/or already own it.

Congratulations! Please do post your impressions here when you get it!

I really like the D8000 series soundwise but what keeps me from buying them is the high weight of 523g without cable. I do not feel comfortable having them on my head.
They should address this issue instead of bringing us limited editions of almost the same design.

Weight is quite well distributed and any hotspots are mitigated with a cheap headband.I really like the D8000 series soundwise but what keeps me from buying them is the high weight of 523g without cable. I do not feel comfortable having them on my head.

Cable is cumbersome, it's true.
New LTD Edition look lit up. True to their name, Final always nail the design.

Washi lifespan:
1000 years
Washi is also used to repair historically valuable cultural properties, paintings, and books at museums and libraries around the world, such as the Louvre and the Vatican Museums, because of its thinness, pliability, durability over 1000 years because of its low impurities, and high workability to remove it cleanly ...

Move along then, these are not the headphones you are looking for.
