Has anyone tried the following 128Gb Samsung Micro-sd card?
Samsung 128GB EVO Micro SDXC up to 48MB/s with Adapter (MB-MP128DA/AM)
Can be seen at http://www.amazon.ca/Samsung-128GB-Adapter-MB-MP128DA-AM/dp/B00P3NMVVU
Thanks

I have the Samsung EVO 64GB and the Sandisk 128GB, both worked perfectly after using the device to format.

Has anyone had any issues with shuffle?  When im using shuffle, songs are repeated but i dont want this.  I have checked and only have the shuffle & favorite icon in the top left corner and there dosent seem to be any play options for this

For those who are looking for stable OTG micro sd card reader, i can confirm that first gen (not the one which is listed on website now) Meenova microsd card reader works without a problem on Fiio X3 2nd gen (Microsd card is Sandisk 128gb). First gen devices are not listed on Meenova store, but if you contact them, they give you special link for first gen purchase. They have limited stock as i understand.

I wish I'd contacted them before I purchased my 2nd Meenova! That thing isn't compatible with Fiio DAPs and drains the battery on my DX90 soooo fast

Make sure your selecting a song from all songs in the menu and not artist or album. It should play the song you select then shuffle after that.

For those of you interested in USB OTG support for the x3 2nd gen. Look to this thread. http://www.head-fi.org/t/766456/fiio-otg-support-thread

There are a number of confirmed Microsd cards, USB OTG devices and USB sticks that work.

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place but does anyone else find the 5,800 song limit on the X3ii utterly ridiculous? If it's been fixed in the firmware for the X5 it's shocking, or cynical, that FiiO have implemented the same limit in the X3ii firmware. I really like the player but I feel quite averse to buying anything else FiiO if they use such tactics. Am I alone in this or are you exasperated by it too?
