  Well, I feel pretty dumb. Hitting the Update button, and then going to Play All works perfectly. Not sure why I've been using the Browse Files slow method this whole time.

Why not embed them?  On that tiny screen you can't see higher resolution images anyway.  My album art is embedded and looks fine.  The only art that is not embedded is on my DSD files (not for the X1 but the X5) because I'm not willing to take all the effort to do the steps required to embed them.

People have posted that they like it with the E12.  BTW, the X5 has a much more robust sound signature.  The X1 is great for a hundred bucks, the X5 is greater for $350.  Or you could buy an Alien for $160 with no screen and 32gbs.

For those looking for a great X1 pairing check out Dunu Titan 1, for about $100, one of the better dynamic drivers I've heard this year, and pairs superbly with x1.

I'm thinking for the budget orientated people, since T-Peos went cray cray and jacked up the price. So for today's menu it's X1 / Dunu Titan 1.

The wood look stick-on left a bit of glue on the corner of my X1, but I easily removed it with a damp q-tip rubbed onto a bar of soap.
