but it's not genuine sandisk, just a generic card.  SanDisk 128GB old version (30Mb/s) is around $100, while the new 128GB version (48Mb/s) is about $125.  I wouldn't trust no-brand name ones, though we are talking about music and not pictures you store in your smartphone, so maybe it worth a risk :wink:

Are these the distributers getting it first? Or does miccastore already have some?

Yea, it'd basically be for music, so i might just take the risk :p

Hello fellow Head-Fiers -

Have any of you have any experience with www.miccastore.com in the past. I have placed for an order for X1 this morning and while checking my account on Miccastore I see two more oders in my account which I have not palces.


1) Delivery Address
2) Delivery Address

Is Miccastore reputed ? I have paid thru paypal, but at the moment paypal only shows a charge for $99 but my order shows $99.99 for X1 + $4.95 for shipping. Any advice ?

Miccastore has been around a long time and they are a very reputable place.  Here is what I found out.  There was a glitch due to a shared session ID link (like in this post: http://www.head-fi.org/t/691332/fiio-x1-the-new-start-of-the-high-res-dap-with-individual-dac-and-headphone-amp/2265#post_10901000 - this link is fixed now :)) where anybody clicking on the link will end up sharing the same cart id, thus creating multiple entrees at the check out.  Just to make sure other orders were not placed erroneously, they had to cancel some and switch to a different shopping cart tracking (cookie-based).
 
Looks like everything is back to normal!

Thanks twister, that makes sense. I have placed a new order with Miccastore. So far no glitch :)


Nuke142 - I have asked Miccastore about champagne color and they do not know when they will be receiving them. I like champagne color too but at the moment I can not resist not having my hands on this new baby :)

There is no 256GB micro SD card. There are 256GB SD cards available though.

I know, but this would definitely be in the news if it was.

i don't mean this in a demeaning way, but not everything from china is what it pretends to be...

Or James has misread the page and just ordered a 256GB SD card.

Speculation all the way here :wink:
