If you are on line out and connect your headphones of turn on the player, a message will appear "Line out may not be connected to earphones..." if you press the back button (upper right) when that message is on screen, an option will appear so you can quickly change to headphone out using the wheel. However I haven't found a way to change from headphone out to line out other than using the settings menu.

yes, this is the only way to change the output settings. btw, you can also used the forward/backward buttons on the bottom to select the options.

One question, can I just format my card to FAT32,then install the FW and load songs into it. So when my x1 arrive, I'd just insert the card?

I hope Fiio is working on developing some players with long battery life. Around 40 hours would be a nice start, however ones with around 80 hours of battery life would be even better.

Nah, I'm being serious, it's not that hard, I just get an .ini file and change a number to make the font bigger/smaller, it's no biggie really.
