Sorry about the picture quality, but here it is:

I own a Xperia Z2, but I don't actually use smartphone much for music, except when using it with Bluetooth headset during commuting.. Otherwise I prefer to listen to music on DAP and I am old school that way.

It looks like the X1 is just as long as my CC BH2. That's perfect. Thank you for the side by side comparison.

To anyone who has used the FiiO X1 with the E11k, is it worth the extra ~$75 (amp and stacking case)? I could get an X3 for just a few dollars more, but the UI and controls of the FiiO X1 seem leagues better, so similar sound quality with a better UI/controls would be great.

This player does work with ALAC right?

Please read the first post again.

Almost same as X3/X5, no DSD. Aka yes. Meaning my iPod can sync with iTunes and I can just copy the iTunes media folder the the X1. Perfect. FLAC is nice but I rip to ALAC for the iPod Mini and Nano. Android plays ALAC. So this following suit is nice.

Did Fiio add 'browse by album artist' to the X1.

Currently I'm struggling to see how this moves the game on from what we've had for years with the Clip+.

More storage? Nope, still only one micro SD slot.

Browse by album artist???

The form factor seems huge for what it is. Why so big and yet only one storage slot?
