Finally got the L700 arc upgrade for my L300LE and by god it is an improvement.
Was complaining that the stock fit sat like a triangle around my head, leaving a gap below my ear tips which is now fixed.

I'm one of them big-headed folks and the L300LE with the original headband was unusable. I've also replaced the headband with the L700 version and now the headphones are sitting just fine on my noggin.

I shall be going to Japan next year, I notice the sellers on eBay all sell 100 V version but I would require the 240 V, is this something I can purchase anywhere in Tokyo?

Unlikely. I believe all the current models do not have an external voltage switch, so they are all 100V. I once asked STAX sales in Japan about purchasing a 120v adapter (while in Japan) and they pushed back saying that it needs to be purchased in the appropriate region outside of Japan.

When not in use, do you have to store these earspeakers in a sealed area or something? I heard that dust will be detrimental for these particular earspeakers.

What about when you want to hang these pairs on the headphone hangers (like under desk one)? That's a no go?

It's a shame that Stax is all hung up in a distribution model from the 70's.
For years the US market suffered from a lackluster partner who delivered
poor service and even worse communications.
Making universal voltage amps would be a great idea.
They used to make most stuff this way. But what do I know?
I Have a SR-202 and sr-80. I still have a srd-6 and srd-7 modded for pro voltage.
I did have a srm-313 and srm1 MKII. I kind of wish the srm-1 was still here.
I also have a home brew Exstata hybrid as well sitting in the closet.
The SR-202 with leather pads holds up well against most other headphones,
Other than the comfort. A redesign by stax would be nice,
but that's about as likely as a redesign by Grado.

Interesting :D
Which amp is better Srm-1 or Srm-313 (for me them looks the same)?

I having some old stuff too: Sr-30, Sr-Lambda Pro, Sr-Sigma Normal. and Srm-1 amp
I cleaned them and remove the black filter that looks like coal filter or very old foam that breaking when you touch it.
The mineral wool I kept (even that I planed to replace it too.)

I really want to try some new headphones from Stax.

I find some one made a good offer for Stax sr-202, maybe I will take them :)

The two units have different sound. The srm1 was a bit laid back. It paired better with sr-404s.
The sr202 was better with the srm-313. I sold both of them and my 404s.
The 202s remain here. I use them with the srd-7 and a vintage Sansui au717
The dynamics with a transformer box are very good. I also have akg q701s paired with a asl mghead
I use my speaker set up now quite a bit. So headphones aren't main go to anymore.
