Hi, everyone.
Could somebody help me out, please, with firmware download for ibasso dx90? I guess, the latest is v2.1.0.
For some weird reason, I can't dl it from ibasso site. In fact, ibasso site doesn't load at all today, though it did before.

I noticed this the other day and emailed them. They are working to get it back up is what I got back in an email. I suggested changing providers.

It's the second time in two monthes that the site is dead. And searching on Google, I found it was a recurrent problem - the same in 2013. It seems they have to find some good webhosting and good webmanager.

I didn't like it. The highs are way rolled off. DX90 sounds much better with T70p.

Thanks , i use to have the T70P and for me it is brighter than the T5P , i'll see tomorow when i receive the DX90 , if it is like you said, will add an portable amp (i have the Fiio E12)

The amp will definitely improve the sound.

I doubt the E12 is a better amp than what's in the DX90 but I suppose it might pair better with that particular phone

I have the combo FIiio X5 and E12 , the sound is perfect for me , hope the E12 will work with the DX90 too . Thanks

I'm sure it will work just fine, I just don't think that it in general will be better than the build in amp, but it's all down to synergy and/or personal preference

Silly question perhaps...but if I play 320 kbps files out of the DX90, will they sound better than out of an iPod? Will lower quality files sound better out of a player like this? Does the hardware in the DX90 improve the sound quality and experience even with MP3s? Or do you need to have files in HQ AIFF to really notice? I do have a mix of file qualities at the moment, and was wondering if buying a DX90 would be worth it. I use a iPhone 5 with a mix of 320 and AIFF. I also use an iPod touch 5th generation with a Cypher Labs Theorem 720 DAC, w/USB Mini-A connector. Appreciate your answers!
