Oh boy.
 
I haven't been active the past few weeks, not too sure why. (Apart from having 4 birthdays including my own). Some interesting discussion from my massive skim read of the past posts, but I think I'll just sit this one out.
 
I've really been getting even more into photography, and I think I really only have tumblr to thank for that. As much as I hate feeling like I'm on a drip feed of approval, Pavalov dog's style, I do think the whole reblogging / liking thing does inspire me to keep posting stuff up and curating my own little corner of the internet. All I seem to do is take photos of decaying or creepy spaces (at least on this tumblog).
 
I got an NEX-6, and its wonderful. Never thought I would ever like a viewfinder so much.
 
I'm getting an offer from Sony to review the MDR-1R, and I'm not sure how to go about it.

On Sunday I improvised a studio in the garage to take some photos of equipment. Somewhat frustrating, in how it made me self-conscious of how much I'd forgotten about taking good pictures. It's also left me with a burning desire for a better pocket camera, even though the one I have is really pretty okay.

I had to laugh when I saw your location as geosynchronous orbit.  Is that because we're composed almost entirely of space standing on space, so that's a low orbit of sorts, or are you getting some really good meds these days?

There used to be a bagel shop around my house many years ago called 'Lox of Bagels'. I always assumed it was a pun of sorts, but didn't know why it was 'Lox'... now I do. Or do I?

I still don't get the fascination people have with bagels though... it's probably a cultural thing or something...
