Does anyone happen to know the name of the head engineer who developed Sony MDR-CD3000 & R10?
This page clearly indicates who the engineer is for e888 & Qualia; However, I do not think I've ever seen a name regarding the developments of CD3000 & R10.

On the MDR-R10 Warranty Slip, there's a name that goes by 投野耕治 (Tono, Kouji), but I am not quite sure if he was actually an engineer.. Is there anybody who knows anything about the responsible personnel in the development of CD3000&R10?

Wow, you really seem to be a hardcore Sony fanboy. Why do you need such a subordinated information?

We could at least hold him ransom 'til Sony agrees to open an exclusive Head-Fi group buy of R10's I suppose.

Mr. Ichikawa Kazuo?

Here

There were probably other engineers involved, but that's what I could find.

@HugoFreire: Well, it seems Ichikawa-san was rather a product designer than an engineer of R10. Nonetheless, thnx for the dig, amigo.
