They still have the RAZORDOG100 code listed prominently in the banner at the bottom of the homepage. It says it only applies to certain headphones though, perhaps that's the issue?

Denon AH-D7100 for $526.85 after shipping through Amazon Warehouse. Condition is listed as "Used - Very Good."

http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ol/B00858I560?c=u&qid=1366584113&sr=8-1

For half the price you can get the D600 with just about the same sound signature.
From an Amazon reviewer:       Quote:
The specifications are almost identical, including the size and composition of the "Nano-Fiber" drivers and the glass fiber molded ear hanger (frame).
...
I really like the look of the D-7100 wooden ear-cups and the silver trim over the D-600's black and silver with contrasting stitching. If they were $100 more than the D-600's, I would have kept them for aesthetic reasons alone. As it was, with Amazon selling the the D-600 for exactly a third of the D-7100's, I kept the D-600 and returned the D-7100. To my ears, there was not a significant difference (your mileage may vary, as outside of specifications, sound quality is very subjective).

D600, about $250, like new: http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00858I4F2/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

I think it would take a very unique person to be a "collector" of super bright lime green Q701 down the road

Totally agree. The D7100 don't sound that great, and the D600 use the same driver. I just wouldn't spend twice as much for the wood accents on a headphone that isn't super top notch and you won't keep around.
